The Advanced Air Legacy
Tom Wilson, owner of Advanced Air Conditioning, is a third generation AC man. His father, Lewis Wilson, started Advanced Air in 1964 after training under his dad, T. J. Wilson, who owned Advanced Refrigeration in Bakersfield, California.
Lewis Wilson trained Tom from the very start to be an AC tech. By 1972, when he was only 12 years old, Tom built his first AC from scrap parts and installed it in the family home.
In addition to a lifetime’s worth of AC repair knowledge, Lewis also taught his son how to relate to others with respect, and how to run a business. Father and son worked together for 34 years.
32 years ago, Advanced Air added Bob to the team as a third technician. Like Tom, he attended attended refrigeration school at what is now called TCC. Bob is a valuable member of the family and part of the future.
In 2014, Advanced Air added a fourth generation to its fine legacy. Tom’s stepson, Jared, joined the team and immediately began proving himself to be a valuable trainee and a fine person to have on the team.
If you are looking for a family who loves what they do and places their reputation and integrity above all else, Advanced Air is for you. We welcome your call.
